NEW CLIENTS

  • We recommend all beginners start with our Introductory Private or Introductory Duet session at half off! This allows you to try Pilates, one-on- one with a instructor, in a boutique studio on the equipment Joseph invented - Gratz.

  • We recommend all beginners start with an introductory private or duet session. This allows us to teach you the foundations that you’ll need to progress to other Semi-Private and Group Tower sessions. Group Mat workouts are open to all levels.

  • Continue Transforming Your Body. Private and Duet Introductory Packages are still the best way to practice since each session is tailored to your specific age, fitness goals, abilities, and any injuries. You can also join a 5-week Series class, Mat Class, or a combination! Transition to Semi-Private Beginner sessions once you are familiar with the names of the exercises and how to set up the equipment with direction.

  • You can transition to Intermediate or Advanced Semi-Privates when:

-You know the names of the exercises in your program

-You know the order in which the exercises are performed

-You know how to set up your equipment and can work independently

If you think you want to start semi-privates, let your instructor know. He/she will make sure that you are prepared for this next step.

The Group Tower session at Bellevue Pilates is on raised mats using the Gratz Wall Unit or "Tower" a system of pullies and springs. Session is 50 minutes in length.

The tower was a direct adaptation by Joseph Pilates to support or challenge traditional Pilates mat workouts. The Wall Unit "Tower" anchors firmly to the wall and floor, providing you with the stability necessary to properly perform a full range of exercises. Adjustable springs allow you to completely customize your session based on your individual flexibility and proficiency. This group class is not recommended for beginners.

  • Bellevue Pilates Mat classes utilize the foundational mat exercises to create a dynamic and fluid class that builds strength and balance in the body. Sessions are 45 minutes long, and props like the magic circle or towels may be used. Group Mat sessions are great for beginners to advanced clients. FREE Member Mat Class each month.
